Experience a unique introduction to bees and beekeeping, whether you're seeking a gift or considering keeping honey bees yourself. You'll familiarize yourself the equipment and get close to the bees. While you won't learn everything in one go, this relaxed session is a starting point.

Practical beekeeping session occurs from April to July, weather permitting.

We schedule 6 to 8 sessions each year and run them at weekends for ease of access. Sessions run from 10:00am to 12:00pm at our South Birmingham apiary, limited to eight attendees for hands-on experience.

Beekeeping gear is provided, but please wear wellington boots and jeans. Directions will be included in your booking details.
